Archery seasons for visible antler blacktail are available August 29th - September 27th in the Dixon unit, as well as Applegate, Evans Creek and Rogue units during the same dates. A late season runs November 14 – December 6, offering an additional opportunity as conditions shift and deer patterns change.

Roosevelt Elk
Roosevelt elk hunting in southern Oregon offers two solid seasons that cater to different hunting styles. Archery season runs August 29 - September 27, a prime time for close range encounters and active elk movement.
